It's been a while since I've worked on a painted weaving. I took this weaving off of my loom a year and a half ago, and I'm just now getting around to working with it! I think I can get 2-3 more paintings out of this weaving, so hopefully it doesn't take me another year and a half to make that happen.
I'm really pleased with how this painting turned out. This past summer, we went to Fossil Rim in Glen Rose, TX. There were tons and tons of deer there, and ever since I took this picture, I've wanted to paint it. There's just something about how peaceful they look.
