*new* exterior inspiration

i did a post a while ago about how we wanted the exterior of our house to look... all of that has changed, so here is our new exterior inspiration:

white house, black gutters, and yellow door

here's the twist: we aren't painting the brick white... we are liming the brick. at least that's the plan right now. we got the idea from this post on young house love, and it seemed like it would work really well for our house. we'll see when this actually happens, but it's nice to have a plan!

exterior checklist:

• install paver patio in backyard [post coming soon]
• repair cracks in brick
• power wash whole house and sand where needed
• install soaker hose on right side of house [sounds easy, but we have dogs that will likely chew/eat the hose, so it's going to take some ingenuity] 
• paint trim and patio siding white
• paint gutters black
• paint front and back doors yellow
• lime the brick
• landscape and accessorize
